Party Time!

What do you think of the tux look of my daddy? He went to a black-tie function without me on Saturday! I decided to leave some mark on him before he left home.

Stop looking at my teeth!

I slept a lot last night and the two upper incisors grew like sweet corn overnight. Everyone got overly excited to see them and I decided to keep my mouth shut! You try to force me to show my teeth and I'll bite your finger off!

The Land of the Morning Calm

Grandpa, daddy and mummy took me to Seoul, Korea, the place where daddy was born. It was amazing to see all the people who got similar facial features as daddy. I met my grand uncles, grand aunties, uncles, aunties, cousins. There are so many of them and I had a fabulous time there. Grand auntie from Jungneng introduced this really tasty fruit called "bae". I got to eat a wedge of it instead of taking the puree. I love my cousin Hyun Jo unni. She gave me books and a toy train. She is very huggable. Take a look at the picture of the girl in a green t-shirt. See if you agree!

The trip to Korea was relatively easy. I ate, played a little, napped the whole way. No crying except when the air hostess tried to strap me up using the baby seatbelt. I'm not a small baby anymore. They cannot tell me when to do certain thing without my consent! Don't they understand that standing on mummy's lap during takeoff and landing gives me a better view of what's going on?

By the way, I'm not exactly a happy camper today. I only get to stay home and the two new teeth (upper jaw) is annoying me. If you put your finger in my mouth, I can make a pretty good dent on your finger. Watch out!

Tell you what

Don't stare! The man behind me with glasses is my Uncle Max! I used to find his glasses intimidating. I cried whenever we were in the same room. So, Uncle Max came up with lots of fun games to play with me. I still pretend to be a bit scared (with no more crying though) so that he will keep coming up with new games for me. Heehee.... Tricky, aren't I?
Today is China's national day and we went to City Hall for dim sum. Halaboji and Daddy let me sit in a high chair at the restaurant and it was fun. I could look at everything at the same level as they do. I grabbed Daddy's chopsticks swiftly and reached for the teapot at the same time. Mummy thinks I have potential to be a kungfu master! My middle initial J should be "Jet" as in Jet Li!
I have been talking to everyone at home in Changun-ish. They don't seem to understand me too well. I always need to lean forward to grab my object of desire to explain. I might raise my voice a little next time!
